One common trait among notebook computers is that they tend to have anemic speakers that don’t sound very good and never seem to have enough USB ports. Logitech can fix both those problems with one device called the AudioHub.

A lot of notebook users are lacking two things: extra USB ports, and some decent speakers to attach to their notebook.

Logitech has come up with an all-in-one solution with the Audiohub, which combines a USB hub with some fairly decent speakers.

The company threw in a few additional features too, such as a cable management system, extension stalk for a webcam and telescoping satellites to fit an array of LCD sizes, all of which make the Audiohub a well-thought out, useful device for notebook users.

If you are looking for a notebook headset that works well for music, movies and casual gaming plus has the ability to work with Skype or other VOIP services this is the review for you.

Sound quality is impressive; the Logitech Premium Notebook Headset has decent levels of bass along with crisp highs and mids. Volume levels are good; I found anything higher than mid way up the inline volume controller was uncomfortable in my use.

For gamers who want to bring their games to life, the Logitech G51 Surround Sound Speaker System offers all the benefits of 360-degree surround sound – and makes it available with or without a multi-channel audio source. With Logitech’s dual Matrix technology, gamers can create a 5.1 surround-sound experience from any common two-channel stereo source.

Nearly all digital music, and legacy games, are only primed for stereo – or two-channel – sound. Using Logitech’s proprietary Matrix surround sound technology, the G51 speakers split the audio signal into six channels of sound, without degrading the audio quality. As a result, gamers can gain the competitive advantages of surround sound – first-person-shooter gamers, for example, can now hear enemies creep up behind them.
